What is the New AML Legislation and How Does It Affect My Business?
From 1st July 2026, new Australian anti-money laundering law requires businesses that provide a registered office address – including Liberty – to verify the identity of anyone using that service.
This means that before signing up for any of our virtual office services, we will have to conduct an ID check. We typically need copies of your ID and basic details about your business. When you renew your virtual office services with us, we will have to repeat this process.
An additional $20 fee will be applied to complete this ID verification check.
